[Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 21. Several prisoners who had pleaded gailty were sentenced at the Supreme Court this morning. John David Anderson, for thefts of money at Seddon from a man with whom he had been drinking, was sentenced to six months imprisonment. William Albert Hansen, on five charges of false pretences and one of forgery at Eltham, was sentenced to "two years’ imprisonment. Hansen had been road foreman under the Eltham County Council, and defrauded that body. Edgar Hope, for arson at the Royal Hotel, Palmerston North, was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment. Richard Lynch, for breaking. entering and theft, was sentenced toHhree years’ imprisonment.
