[Pee Press Association.] HOKITIKA, January 3. The Premier and party arrived at Hokitika this morning, and met with a great reception. At the railway station, where tho Premier was accorded a public welcome, a large crowd gathered, and the proceedings were very enthusiastic. Mr Seddon spoke at length, and was very attentively followed. At tho conclusion of his address, there wer© rounds of cheers. The Premier will visit Lake Kanieri this afternoon, and will open the railway to Mahinapua on Monday. He has cancelled his trip to South ‘Westland, owing to the unsettled weather.
