A meeting of the Council of the North Canterbury Public Schools’ Amateur Athletic Association was hold on Saturday, Mr J. B. Mayne in the chair. Consideration of a regulation dealing with the age limit of boys in the cricket competition was deferred till next meeting. The Pioneer Athletic Club wrote regarding the formation of a junior branch, asking the Council for its assistance. The matter being of importance, it was decided to place the question before a general meeting to be Called in February. It was decided to issue printed forms to all schools, giving information to all children as to what constitutes a professional.
