PRESENTATIONS.
Yesterday morning Miss Margaret Boulcolt, assistant matron at tire Lyttelton prison,, who hac been promoted . to tlio position of matron at the Wei- ! hngton Gaol, was presented by the staff j at Lyttelton with a silver cake basket 1 and a biscuit barrel as a valedictory gift. The presentation was made by Mr M. M. Cleary, governor of the Lyt- , tslton prison, and was suitably acknowledged by Miss Bonlcott. At Dromoro on Friday last, the schoolmistress, Miss G. C.' Smith, who is severing her connection with the school, i was' presented with a travelling bag, suitably inscribed, and a greenstone and | gold brooch.
