[Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, October 25, T. Craig, of Wanganui, who, along with Ross, Williams, Drake and Burke, was to have represented New Zealand at the Championship athletic meeting in Sydney, has strained himself and cannot make the. trip. The Rangiora Associations’ Committee met on Tuesday evening, and arranged a programme of thirty-six events for ""the Now Year’s Day sports. The programme comprises three amateur and three Cash cycling ©vents, five amaleur and five open foot races, and nineteen variety events, including fire brigade competitions and dancing. The sum of £5 was voted for children’s sports. Five new members were elected. An offer from the Christchurch Druids’ Concert Company to give an entertainment in aid of the track fund, was accepted.
