Some very good work was done at Hastings this morning, in view of the Hawke'a Bay Jockey Club's Spring Meeting, which will begin on Saturday. Kutriona beat Ngaio comfortably in a -seven-furlong gallop, -and Sinus had the best of Rubin ovex one mile. Ringd'et and Ringman covered l five furlongs, moving in a pleasing style, and The Shannon galloped a circuit, moving really well.
