CHORAL HALL.
The Choral Hall was well attended last evening, when a gymnastic display was submitted by members of the Physical Training School, under the direction of Mr T."S. Tankard. The programme was a veiy long and interesting one, and consisted of horizontal-bar : exercises; springboard leaping, dumb-bell and extension movements, evolutions, vaulting-horse exercises, Roman rings, feats, of strength with Sandow weights, club-swinging, wand exercises, kangaroo and alligator march, and parallel-bars, etc. Messrs A. Isaac and E. Hammond gave a good exhibition of trick cycle-riding, and they had to respond to a well-earned encore. The clubswinging exhibition, by. members of the ladies' classes, waa very cleverly done. The second and last .term for this year commences on Monday next, July 15.
