A match was played at (Rangiora yesterday >afterno on, between the High Sohool and a tatm, captaitoPd by iwir W. Gower. The former won by two goals, scored. by D., and W. Rodger, to mil. " A match was played yesterday between the Sydenham A and B teams, which resulted in a win for the' B team hy two goals to one. Mr Yates was referee. Yesterday the two leading, teams in the Junior competition, 'tfhe Lyttelton and Drapers' Juniors, met at Lyttelton, > and after a keenly contested 'gaane, Lyttelton won by seven' goals to three. Afternoon tea was provided by the members of the Lyttelton Ladies' Hockey Club. The result of the gam© puts Lyttelton half a point ahead in-the competition.
