NORTH ISLAND SHEEPBREEDERS’ ASSOCIATION.

[Per Press Association.] PALMERSTON NORTH, June 22. At a meeting of the North Island members of the Sheep-breeders’ Association, held yesterday, the balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £260. The following Council was elected: —Messrs J. W. Wheeler, J. Baker, and J. J. Wilson, for Manawatu and the West Coast; Messrs W. C. Buchanan, A. Matthews, and J. Stuckey, for Wairaraipa; Messrs P. M’Hardy, W. Birch, and T. Crossey, for Hawke’s Bay. The Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association -will elect one member for the Auckland district, and the Gisborne Agricultural and Pastoral Association will elect one member for the Gisborne district.
