CONGRATULATIONS ON HIS KNIGHTHOOD. , The following telegrams have passed between the Officer-in-Charge of the Telegraph Office, Christcburch, and Mr W. Gray, Secretary, Wellington, expressing the congratulations of the local staff to Sir Joseph Ward, on the occasion of his being knighted : ; ■ ' Secretary, Wellington.—Kindly convey to Sir Joseph Ward the congratulations of the Christcburch Telegraph Staff on the high and distinguished honour conferred 'on him by his Majesty the King.
