CURRENT NOTICES.
The following meetings will be held today :—General Committee and , subscribers’ to the Jubilee Memorial Fund, City Council Chambers, 4 p.ro; quarterly meeting of the Christchurch Fire Police, City Council Chambers, 7.30 p.m. ; Fire Brigade Demonstration Executive, City Council Chambers, 8 p.m. The annual picnic of the bakers of Christchurch and suburbs will be held at Kaiapoi on Thursday. The annual “ Sam Weller Swarry ” of the Sydenham and Addington Working Men’s Club will be held on Friday evening. The annual meeting of the Christchurch Motett Society will be held in the Trinity Schoolroom, Manchester Street, at 8 p.m. on Tuesday next.
