FOOTBALL.
A committee meeting of the Merivale Football Club was held last evening, at the Clarendon Hotel. Five new members were elected. It was decided to open the clubroom on March 1, and to hold the annual general meeting on Thursday, March 7, at the Clarendon Hotel. At the meeting, the Accident Fund Regulations (proposed by the Canterbury Rugby Union) will be considered. Tho Secretary and Mr Dansey were instructed to prepare the annual report, and it Was decided to take proceedings against members whose subscriptions are unpaid.
