Regarding the bubonic plague, a motion was passed asking the Government to communicate with the owners of intercolonial vessels, urging that cmch vessels should not be allowed to remain alongside a wharf a t night. The decrease of water in the Kami and Wainuiomata reservoirs was discussed, and it was decided to discontinue the watering of the streets and adopt a better system of cleaning them. If the necessity arises, those using water motors are to receive twentyfour hours’ notice of the discontinuance of the supply. ■ , , -'
