SINCERITY IN POLITICS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Permit me to point out to “ Qiu Yive” that he has made a mistake. Mrs Seddon is not president of the Women’s Political Association. This Association has no connection, whatever with the Social and Political League, of which Mrs Seddon is president, and some time ago it distinctly refused to amalgamate with that League. The Women's Political Association is a much older organisation, and dates from the passing of the Women’s Franchise Bill in 1893. Its members aim at the advancement of Liberal principles combined with practical politics. Principles, not men, is their watchword, and they are quite logical in demanding perfect sincerity from their representatives ,in Parliament, at the same time recognising the existing political constitution as the one to work with.—l am, &c.. HON. SEC. WOMEN’S POLITICAL ASSOCIATION.
