ARBITRATION COURT. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, May 10.
A deputation, representing various trades, waited upon the Premier, pointing out .the inconvenience and losses caused by the delay in the Arbitration Court work. Mr Seddon, in replying, said that the Legislature had decided that the President of the Court should be a Judge of the Supreme Court, and that there should be only one president for the colony. It was next to impossible for the work to be done by one man ip addition to his Supreme Court. duties. He thought that there should be a .president for 'each island, and he would consult Judge Edwards, the president of the "Court, on the present crisis.
