ANNIVERSARY SERVICES.
The anniversary services of the St Albans Wesleyan Church were held on May 7. The Rev C. H. Garland preaofaed morning and evening to large congregations, and in the afternoon the Rev C. H. Laws conducted a children's service. The choir, under the leadership of Mr B. Hrndle, rendered special music. The anthem for the morning service was, " The Sun Shall Be No More" (Woodward), and that for the evening was "Seek Ye the Lord" (Dr J. V. Roberts). Before the evening service a short sacred concert was given, when solos were rendered by Miss Alice Gray and Mr B. Hindle, and the organist, Miss Eleanor Smith, played selections.
The anniversary .of . the Cambridge Terrace Primitive Methodist Church was held on Sunday. •-In the morning the Rev C. E. Ward preached, in the afternoon the Rev W. Paumber, and in the evening- the Rev Dr Erwin. The music was rendered bv' an efficient choir, led by Mr Earwaker, with Miss Field as organist. 'The annual tea will be. held this evening, when an address will be .given by Mr T. E. Taylor, M.H.R., and city ministers.
