PARISH MEETINGS.
: ST STEPHEN’S, ASHBURTON. At the annual meeting of the parishioners of St Stephen’s, Ashburton, on Tuesday, the balance-sheet, with a credit for the year, was adopted, and satisfactory reports on all departments of church work were received. Dr Trevor and Mr Thomas were re-appointed churchwardens, and the following were elected vestrymen : —Messrs ,T. M. Cambridge, F. Ferriman, E. J. Paul, H Shrimpton, L. J. Hobbs, J. Dent, C. D. Hardie, J.R. Bland. P. H. Cox and D. 0. Stock. Votes of thanks to the workers concluded the meeting.
