COLLIE TRIALS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—Will you allow me to suggest through your columns that secretaries of Collie Dog Clubs, or local reporters, when sending in reports of trials should state specifically the number of points given under each heading to the different dogs competing? In a recent issue of your paper an account of the Methven trials was- comparatively uninteresting solely because one was totally unable to judge in what particular respect the various competitors excelled. It is by such omissions as these that clubs : fail to arouse public interest in. their trials. • —lam, etc., J.W.M.D.
