. CHRISTCHURCH CLUB/. The Christchurch Club held a 100yds Handicap in the bath on Thursday evening last, with the following .results: First heat: Fitzpatrick,’ isec, 1 ; Turtill, loser, 2. Won by two yards. Time— Bl'aee. Second heat: Simes, scr, I; Orrae, 17soo, 2. Won easily. Time—B9sec. Third heat: Barrel!, 14sec, 1. Fourth heat: Smart, 6sec, 1. Time—SSsec. Fifth heat: J. W. S imes, lOaec, 1; Eaves, 2. Time— B9sec. Sixth heat: Mailer, Bacc, 1; Cooper, loser, 2. Time—92aec. Semi-final—First heat: Simes, per, 1: Fitzpatrick, .1 sec, 2. Time—STaec. Second heat: Moller, Bsee, 1; Smart, 6sec, 2. Time—94sec. Final: Moller, Bsec, I; Simes, scr, 2; Fitzpatrick, lace, 9. Smart also started. A splendid finish between the placed men. Time —B6sec. ’ ■

A meeting of the committee of the- Lancaster Park Swimming Club was held last (weming ; present-—Messrs B. O. Duncan (chairman), W. liergh, F. Kesteven, N. Francis, E. J. Rightnn, A. H. Shanks, the Honorary' Treasurer and the Honorary Secretary. Twenty new members were elected. The hours of bathing for ladies were extended to 4.30 p.m., except on Thursdays, Saturdays and public holidays. . A vote, of thanks was passed In Mrs T. H. Papps for her services during the past year, and she was elected an honorary member of the club. A Bath Committee was elected to manage the bath. After some discussion, it was decided to allow the Floral Fete Committee to have .the ui<e of the bath for storing bicycles. The proposal to hold a race for members was left in the hands of the Bath Committee.
