FIRES.

A whare at the Birch Hill sawmills, belonging to Mr H. Boyd, and valued at about AlO, was burnt down on Tuesday evening. Christopher Wilson, ono of the mill hands who occupied the place, lost about A2O worth of articles, including clothing, anew sot of harness, and a watch. The occupants were out of the place at the time, and it is supposed that a candle left too near the ceiling started the fire.
