Mat 12. _ I The Times Paris correspondent states that the Powers are discussing the Chinese indemnity, which, it is believed, will be fixed at .£110,000,000, and he will not be surprised if the total loan to repair war damages and restore the finances reaches £180,000,000. Reports from Tokio state that Admiral Kabana has been appointed Viceroy, and has sailed for Formosa, with a view to obtain the transfer and take possession.
