THE HON J. G. WARD.
A CANADIAN INVITATION. [Special to Pbess Association.! LONDON, Aat 10. The Canadian Government has invited the Hon J. G. Ward to visit Ottawa to discuss matters of general interest as between Canada and New Zealand. Mr Wizard has accepted the invitation conditionally on his engagements permitting it. The Hon J. G. Ward informed the Colonial Party of the House of Commons that New Zealand desired a naval station, in view of the results of the Japanese war. Sir Charles Dilka considered that the station in Sydney was sufficient.
