AUCKLAND NEWS.
[Feb- Press Association.! . AUCKLAND, March 1. Lord Glasgow and suite arrived at Onehunga this morning by the Hinemoa, and came to town by a special carriage. This evening Lady Glasgow and party arived from Ngaruawafaia after visiting the Waingaroa hot springs. The viceregal party will stay at Auckland three months. A letter from Sir George Gray, received by the mail, states that he hopes his h ealth will soon permit of his return to Auckland. Admiral Bridges informed the Mayor that he hoped to frequently repeat hifl visit to New Zealand. He has bean here twice before, and commanded H.M.S. Eapiegle.
