ARREST OP AN ALLEGED MURDERER. BRISBANE, Dec, 9. One of the Dora Dora blaoks, alleged to have been connected with the murder of two Japanese, has been arrested at Bandaberg. SOUTH AUSTRALIAN TAXATION. ADELAIDE, Deo. 9. Owing to the rejection of tha Taxation Bill the Government proposes to double the Income tax and to reduce tho road vote in order to provide the amount necessary to cover the deficit upon tho current year. The Cabinet has also decided to stop all expenditure in connection with the Imperial Institute. A SENSATIONAL SUICIDE. MELBOURNE, Dec. 9. A young Hindoo went into a shop in Pitzroy, took a knife from tha counter, rushed into the street, and stabbed himself in tho body several times, then almost severed his head from his body and fell dead.
