The Victorian Public Works Department official who came over to give deliver; of the dredger, said that he waa advised b; his department not to accept the proposal for £350, which waa absurd. He would dismantle the dredge himself and give her up to the Board in the same order as she was when chartered. NEW PLYMOUTH, Dec. 9.
