ENTERTAINMENTS.

On Monday evening an entertainment in connection with St Bartholomew's' Church, Kaiapoi, was given in the Oddfellows’ Hall. There was a good attendance. A kinderspiel, entitled Don Quixote, was produced by the choir and some Mends. Th e accompaniments were played by the organist of the church, Mr Blakely. The funds were in aid of painting and repairing the Sunday school. On Monday evening a magic-lantern entertainment was given at the Willowbank United Methodist Free Church, by Mr F. W. Jackson. The proceeds were in aid of the school funds. Mr W. G. Burns explained the views as they were shown. There was a large attendance.
