[Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, April 13. Five of the most important chiefs of the Arawa tribe have been arrested in the Tauranga district for default in payment of the dog tax. Amongst them is Te Pokeha Taranui, better known as Major Fox. The occurrence caused some sensation in the district, especially among the Natives.
