From the Property Tax Commiaiioner stating that a atatement of value# for Amur County had been forwarded for inspection by the public. . , _ . Prom Xangiora Borough Council and Wai* mat# County Council, etating that thoee bodiea had not framed by-law* relative to hawkers’ and carriers’ lioenaea. Prom the Under-Secretary of Public Worke, acknowledging receipt of Chairman a letter re extension of railway from Hurunui to the Bed Post, informing the Council that it would be duly oonsidored. Chairman wa* requested to write to the Minister of Public Work*, ailing for fuller information in the matter. ’ , _ Mr Donald Davidaon waa appointed Be* turaing Offloer for the Amari County, and alio Beturning’Oflloer for the Amuri Licena* ing Dlitriet. The eommlaeion to bo allowed to the Dog Tax Collector waa fixed at 6 per cent.
