Meisrs H. Matson 1 and Co. yesterday sub* mitted for sale by auction for the trustees of the late John State,the block of freehold land—The Berwick Estate-lying between: Linwood and the* city, ! oomprislng about 34' acres,* witi frontages bri tne Cashel, Hereford,* Worcester, Gloucester, and Armagh streets eatt, and Petey, Elizabeth/Bt. The attendance of the public was very largo.
