THE CANTERBURY CRICKETERS IN VICTORIA.
TO THB BDITOB OP THU liTTTBIiTON TIMES, Sib,—Although 1 am cine of those who did not think the Canterbury cricketers would carry all before them in 'Victoria, yot I HGnb they have done remarkably well—-so far agreeing with your leader of this morning. I did not expect they would have done so well as they, have done; because I know something of Australian Clubs. Knowing that the Canterbury team have played well, and have thus upheld the honour of Canterbury, I feel that they have not received that welcome on their return wMoh they: deserve. Is it too late to give them a welcome now P If not, by all means let their, cricketing prowess be duly acknowledged.—l am, &0.. HONOUR TO WHOM HONOUR IS DUB.
