OBITUARY.

Mrs W. Little—s9 Years There passed away at the Arrow District Hospital on Friday last, Mrs Little, wife of Mr Walter Little, Cardrona, in her 59th year. Deceased lady was a very old resident of the Cardrona district and held in the highest esteem by all who had the pleasure of her acquaintance. Kindly and considerate in her disposition she was a good wife and mother, and much sympathy goes out to the bereaved relatives in their sad loss. The late Mrs Little was a native of Morebattle, Roxburghshire, Scotland. Her re- y

mains were taken to Pembroke on Sunday for interment there. The cause of death, we understand, was heart trouble.

The Mail records the death on Sunday at Dunedin of Mr A Hislop, for many years stationmaster at Kingston.
