(LAKE COUNTY PBBSS CORRESPOS'DBNT.) At a meeting of the Tennis Club held in the schoolroom on the 13th, Mrs A. Scott was re-elected president, and Mr J. Leslie, junr., vice-president, and Miss Kinross, secretary and treasurer. It was decided to hold the opening day on the loth, and practice is to bo vigorously carried on, so that the Club will bo able to challenge the Arrow. Club. A concert and dance is to be held in the schoolroom on the och October for the purpose of raising funds to buy a now or- ' gan for the use of the school. A large quantity of potatoes is being planted here this season with the expectation of high prices in the fall. September 24, 1900.
