OBITUARY.
It is our sad duty this week to record the death of of Mrs Hope, wife of Mr Thoraas ilopo, of Quecnstown, Deceased had bi*en suffering for a considerable frims from Bright'* disease, and breathed her last about 4 o'clock on Saturday afternoon lash. Dscoased was 36 years of age. and leavea a family of seven children to mourn their loss. The funeral took place on Tueaday afternoon at the Que»n.3town cemetery, and waE attended by a large number of friends from all parts of the district. The Rev. Mr Wilson, Presbyterian min'eter, oinciated afc the grave. A second death took place at Queenstown on the same day, Mrs Tyrell, wife of Mr James Tyrell, «insniith, passing peuceably &way a little before 5 p in. Deceased was only 25 yours of age, and leaves throe young children. Consumption was the caoae of death. Thw funeral also took place on Tuesday afternoon at the Queenstown com+tory, the Rav. Father O'Donnell officiating at tho gjave. Much sympathy is felt for both families, und quits a gloom waa thrown over Quoensiown, wh*n it became generally known that two young married worsen had passed away within half an hour of each other.
