Empire pay was quite a busy occasion for tiie above corps. Shortly after 11 n.m, shooting commenced in the second match for tint belt. The day was fine, and some very good scores wero made. The ranges were 200, 500, and 600 yards, with seven shots at each range. Three special prizes were given for the day’s shooting. The first—a Gladstone bag—was won by Trooper A. E. Smith (handicap 20 points), 105 ; the next by Corporal Stevenson a dressing case. Corporal Stevenson, from scratch, made the top score since tho formation of the corps of 92, Sergt.
