ARROW CRICKET CLUB.
The annual meeting of members of the above club was held in the Press office on Tuesday evening and was well attended. The captain, Mr J. Bevin occupied the chair. The secretary, Mt J. J- Cotter, read the report and balance-sheet. The for mer referred to the necessity for more practice on behalf of members, to the number of matches played—three, one won and two lost—and to the highest batting average secured by Doctor Thomson with an average of 24. The balance sheet showed a small debit balance. The members referred to the good work done by Mr Cotter as seen tary and treasurer. The following office-bearers were then elected: President, Mr W. Fraser, M.H.R. ; vice-presidents, Messrs P. Reid, D. Treacy, H. M'Kibbin, It. Paterson, G. D. Baird, R. J. Cotter, J. A,. Algie, R. Pritchard, W. Jenkins, T. M‘Donnell, and J. Allan ; captain, Mr P. Webb ; deputy-captain, Mr P- do la Perrelle; secretary and treasurer, Mr James Jenkins. The following general committee was appointed : Messrs M‘Skimming, Hadley, Fletcher, Jos. Jenkins, J. Bevin, J. J. Cotter, P. de la Perrelle, C. Illingworth,, and Dr Thomson. The annual subscription was fixed as follows :—Playing members 7s 6d, youths 4s, school boys 2s 6d, hon. members ss. The meeting terminated with the usual courtesy to the chair.
