ARROW JOCKEY CLUB.
A meeting of the committee was held' in the Press offiice on Saturday evening last and was attended by the President (Mr J. Bevin) in the chair, and Messrs Romans, Paterson, Perrelle, Jopp (2), and Dr Thomson. Members regretted the serious illness of Mr Secretary Smith, and expressed a hope that he would be soon w-ell enough to resume his duties. A resolution to this effect was minuted. Mr Illingworth intimated that he would carry on the secretariship for Mr Smith during his illness. Messrs Cotter Bros, and Romans also promised to assist. The programme having been approved of it was decided to print same at once. The next committee meeting will be held on Saturday evening, 21st September,, when all lists must be in.
