The Star’s correspondent at Clinton telegraphed as follows on Thursday : Tt having been reported to the police that a bundle of woman’s clothing had been found in the Fomahaka River, Constable liatimer on Wednesday proceeded to the locality and there found clothing, consisting of dresses, underclothing, etc., also a tin box containing three bonnets. In the box was a Dunedin dyer’s receipt in favor of Mrs Matheson.
