NEW POST OFFICE
PLANS BEING PREPARED. PROVIDING MORE ACCOMMODATION. NO AVOIDABLE DELAY. Mr. W. J. Broadfoot, M.P. for Waitomo, has received the following letter from the Postmaster-General, the Hon. F. Jones:— "With reference to your letter of the 6th instant inquiring what progress is being made in connection with the proposed new Post Office building for Te Kuiti: after I last wrote to you on the matter, it was found necessary to amend the sketchplans to provide more accommodation in the building. I am unable to say yet when tenders will be called, but the plans are in course of preparation, and there will be no avoidable delay in providing Te Kuiti with its new office"
