Her veil of tulle formed a train and was attached to the head with a spray of tiny cream roses. The bride carried a bouquet of freezias and Christmas roses. In attendance as bridesmaids were Margaret Isaac and Rosemary Barker, who were dressed alike in frocks of flame coloured stiffened net cut on empire lines and they wore sprays of gold leaves in their hair and carried posies of.gold flowers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. C. K. Home, of Auckland. Following the ceremony about eighty guests were entertained at Atawhai, the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Keiller. Mrs. Hitchings, mother of the bride, received the guests wearing a gi-aceful frock of cinnamon wool crepe de chine and a shoulder spray of orchids; on her head she wore a halo of leaves made of the same material as her frock. Mrs. Keiller was attired in a black satin frock with a black and white coatee.
