WOMEN'S DIVISION ACTIVITIES. (Own Correspondent.) At a meeting in the Rest Room on Thursday last, Mrs. V. R. Smith, the secretary, reported that the Paddy's Market, held on Ewe Fair day had resulted, in a net profit of £4 12s. She wished to thank all those who had donated produce for this successful result. Arrangements were finalised for the Division Flower Show which is to be held in Pio Pio on the 4th March. A large number of entries are hoped for as the Show is the Division's chief money-making venture. The friends of Miss Annie Fisher met later to v/ish her happiness on her approaching marriage. Mrs. Tebbutt, on behalf of the Division, presented Miss Fisher with a fruit salad set and said that it was the custom of the Branch to give each bride-elect some small token of friendship. She hoped that, as Miss Fisher would still live in the district, she would remain an active member. Miss Fisher thanked- her many friends for the gracious present and said that someone must have given away the secret of the colour scheme for her new home, for the fruit salad set exactly toned in with it. She was sure she would be able to continue her membership of the Division.
