WOMEN'S INSTITUTE
PUKETUTU BRANCH. A well-attended meeting of the Puketutu W.I. was held on February 10th at Mrs. Faulkner's residence, Mrs. Reynolds, vice-president, taking the chair. A demonstration on pine needle baskets by Miss Amundsen, Kopaki, was much appreciated. The competition, a worked buttonhole, resulted in a win for Mrs. Reynolds, Mrs. Church being second. A dainty afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Johnson and Dwyer. The singing of the National Anthem brought the meeting to a close.
