MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Returned Soldiers' Association Executive was held in the R.S.A. rooms on Wednesday, 17th inst., Present: Messrs. A. C. Shearer (president), J. Thornton (secretary), G. L. Milltr (vice-president), W. Rundle (past president), J. J. Davis-m, A. H. Morris, E. Kitto, P. Hughes, W. Read, and N. Cole. Two visitors from Pio Pio sub-branch were also present. Several pension cases 'were dealt with, and a letter of thanks for services which had been given to a necessitous case was received. Pio Pio sub-branch wrote accepting the challenge to a cricket match which will take place at Pio Pio on the 14th March. The secretary reported that the roll of members now stands at 340.
