BOXING ASSOCIATION
POPULAR CONTESTS ARRANGED. At an executive meeting of the Te Kuiti Boxing Association held last night, preliminary arrangements were made in connection with staging a professional contest of twelve rounds on Saturday, March 6. The Association is in touch with two of the finest boxers that have performed in this country for some years, and a definite announcement with regard to the contestants will be made any time. The night’s programme should be a thrilling one, as in addition to the big professional encounter, there will be several amateur bouts and one of the very popular teams contests.
