TE KUITI SPORTS
ATTRACTIVE PROCRAMME. The programme for the Te Kuiti Sports Club’s big annual gathering is now on display and it reveals a very attractive list of events. Prize money is on the same big scale as last year, thus ensuring the presence at the meeting of the best athletes in New Zealand. The big meetings at Te Kuiti and Otorohanga at Easter time attract competitors and onlookers from far afield, and present indications are that there will be a record number of visitors this year. Despite the stiff opposition from outside, the local runners took most of the prize money last year, and most of them will take the field again next month.
