MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Te Kuiti Women's Institute was held in the Fire Station on Tuesday last, with a very good attendance of members and several visitors. Five new members joined up. The roll call was, "What I Would Like Done by the Institute." The competition, "The Best Hat Made out of a Sheet of Paper and Six Pins," was won by Mrs. O'Hagan, Mrs. Ongley beingsecond. The delegate to the recent meeting of the Waikato Federation gave a very interesting report. One of the Institue members, Mrs. McCormack is leaving this district, and she was farewelled and presented with a tray as a small token of esteem. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Banfield, Addy and Caterer. A very pleasant afternoon was closed with the singing of the National Anthem.
