HEAVY CARS ABANDONED.
Owners of heavy cars, in Austria, hit by the increase in petrol and other motor car taxes have in some cases actually been prepared to pay anyone who would take their car away and look after it. Thousands of second-hand motor cars are on the market with no prospect of finding buyers, and the trade in new cars is almost dead.
