VALUABLE USED CARS.
Some idea of the depression, in its effect upon American motor car production, is provided by a report that during 1932 Chili bought Only 15 cars from the United States, as compared with an average of 5000 per annum from 1927 to 1931, says the Motor. The total importation of motor cars from all countries was only 42. Owing to the trade paralysis and exchange restriction second-hand cars in South America have trebled and quadrupled in value.
