PREVENTING DRAUGHTS.
If the doors of a saloon car do not fit tightly, an annoying draught is caused when the car is in motion. A simple cure for this may be effected as follows:—Obtain some %in. rubber gas tubing and some Rexi'ne cloth to match the upholstery of the car. The tubing is covered with the Rexine, which is sewn together in such away that the tubing is held securely. The Rexine is then cut so that sufficient cloth is left with which the tubing is tacked to the edges of the door frame. Another advantage of this packing is that it prevents the door rattling.
