RALLY IN HAMILTON. SUCCESSES OF TE KUITI BOYS. On Saturday last a total of 22 of the local Boy Scout Troop travelled to the scout jamboree in Hamilton. Results, with judge's comments:— Knot Tying. Otorohanga .A (P. Phillips and R. Wheeler) 1, Otorohanga B 2. Spar Lashing.—Te Kuiti (W. Cairns, C. Archer, J. Stranger, J. Ormsby, S. Ward, R. Davenport, J. Joseph, L. Barlow) 1, Te Awamutu 2. The lashingwas excellently executed and Te Kuiti j in particular gave a fine display. Wall Scaling.—Te Kuiti (C. Archer, J. Joseph, J. Ormsby, J. Stranger, S. Ward, L. Barlow, D. Davenport, W. Cairns) 1, First Frankton 2. Message Relay. Otorohanga (S. Saunderson, J. Poyntoii, J. Pye, P. Phillips, M. Thomson, B. Alexander, W. Hoskins) 1. March Past. Te Kuiti 1, Cambridge 2, Te Awamutu 3. Te Kuiti gave an outstanding exhibition, while Cambridge were but a few points behind in efficiency and appearance.
