TE KUITI CLUB, The following are the results of championship and handicap finals which were played on Saturday in ideal weather. Men's Championship Singles. Browne defeated Tate, 4 —6, 6—3. 6 —2. This was a keen, fast game, and both players deserved the applause they received after the match. Tate held the superiority in the first set, which he won 6—4, but Browne's steady, accurate driving wearied him in the last two sets, which were play ed at a much faster pace. Browne is thus the champion of the club for 1932. Ladies' Singles Championship.—Miss B. McLeod defeated Mrs. Hetet, 6—4, 6—l. This game was noted for its steady and accurate play, but Miss McLeod's drives were mainly instrumental in gaining her the victory Men's Handicap Doubles. Browne and McLeod (scr.) beat Tate and Seeker (10). All four players showed their best form and a very close game was witnessed. Althougn Browne and McLeod caught up the leaway in the early stages, Tate aud Seeker held them right to the finish, which is indicated by the final score —63—Gl.

Ladies' Handicap Doubles. Misses McLeod and Frerichs defeated Misses Wood and Barr. The winners proved too superior in coart-craft for their opponents, but the score of 40 —28, did not altogther give a true indication of the game. Members are. asked to note that the second and third rounds of the combines have to be completed this week.
